Day 2: Mumbai sightseeing
Breakfast at hotel. Morning, enjoy an excursion to Elephanta Island. The boat journey will take about one hour. The 8th-century caves in Elephanta Islands are well known for rock cut stone sculptures. The huge carved idols are dedicated to both Hindu and Buddhist gods.
Afternoon sightseeing tour of Mumbai including Prince of Wales museum, Gateway of India and Crawford market. Prince of Wales museum was built to commemorate King George V’s visit to India in 1905. The museum houses art, paintings, archeology and natural history. Night at hotel in Mumbai

Day 3: Mumbai – Nashik (by surface, 165 km / 3 hrs drive)
Nashik will be the first destination to visit a vineyard in your India wine tour. After breakfast drive to Nashik. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Later excursion to Sula Vineyards. Situated above 2000 ft of sea level, Nashik is India’s biggest grape producing region. A friendly and knowledgeable in-house guide will take you on the tour of vineyards and winery. The wine tasting room is a place to behold. Enjoy an exclusive tasting session with the wine makers.
After visits, drive back to the hotel in Nashik. There is accommodation facility in Sula Vineyards. You may choose to stay overnight in the vineyards.

Day 5: Nashik – Aurangabad (by surface, 205 km / 5 hrs drive)
The next destination in your India wine tour will be Aurangabad. Morning drive to Aurangabad, on arrival check-in at the hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Aurangabad city. From ancient times Aurangabad has been a place of importance due to its strategic location. Aurangabad is also called the city of ‘Gates’. Each of the 52 gates is associated with history. Visit Bibi-ka-Maqbara, a replica of the Taj Mahal in Agra built in the memory of Aurangzeb’s wife.

Day 6: Aurangabad
Breakfast at hotel. Enjoy a full day guided excursion to Ajanta Caves. Ajanta caves are located at 105 kilometers far from Aurangabad and it takes about 2 hours drive. The 2000 years old caves in Ajanta contain beautiful frescoes and carvings of stupas depicting life and lessons from The Buddha. Listed as UNESCO World Heritage site, the caves are a stunning series of carvings hewn from the rocky side of a crescent shaped gorge.
After visit return to Aurangabad. Night at hotel in Aurangabad.

Day 7: Aurangabad
Your India wine tour gives you an opportunity to see the finest cave architecture in Ellora. Today, enjoy a guided excursion to Ellora caves. The exquisitely carved 34 caves are situated about one hour drive from Aurangabad. The caves display breathtaking temple architecture, elaborate facades, and exquisitely adorned interiors. The Kailasa temple in Cave 16 is an architectural wonder. The entire temple is carved out of a monolith stone and dedicated to lord Shiva. The temple is considered as the world’s largest monolith temple.
After visit return to your hotel in Aurangabad. Night at hotel in Aurangabad.
Highlight of the day: Ellora caves
Day 8: Aurangabad – Narayangaon – Pune (by surface, 285 km / 6 hrs drive)
After breakfast drive to Pune, en route visit to Chateau Indage vineyard in Narayangaon, the second and last vineyard in your India wine tour. Also popular in the name of Omar Khayyam Vineyard due to their first wine – Omar Khayam launched in 1986. Established in 1979 this is the first vineyard in India. Enjoy a guided tour of the vineyard. You will have wine tasting session and lunch at the vineyard.
After lunch drive to Pune, on arrival check-in at the hotel. Night at hotel.

Day 9: Pune – Kolhapur (by surface, 233 km / 5 hrs drive)
Morning, enjoy a short drive in the city. Afternoon, drive to Kolhapur. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Your stay at Kolhapur will be to break the long journey between Pune and Goa. Your drive from Pune to goa will give you an opportunity to enjoy the scenic drive through the Western Ghats. You will have a choice to take flight from Pune to Goa. Night at hotel in Kolhapur.
Day 10: Kolhapur – Goa (by surface, 231 km / 5 hrs drive)
Breakfast at hotel. Start your last stretch of the drive to Goa in India wine tour. The road to Goa will be quite scenic. Drive through the lush green mountains and tunnels. On arrival in Goa check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day free on the beach. Night at hotel in Goa.

Day 11: Goa
Morning, enjoy a private guided sightseeing tour of Old Goa. Your sightseeing will include Church of St. Francis, The Mahalaxmi temple and Portuguese homes. You will have an opportunity to visit a Portuguese home for lunch and meet the family members. Afternoon free to enjoy the beach. Night at hotel in Goa.

Day 12: Goa / Mumbai (by flight)
Breakfast at hotel. Enjoy the day on Goan beach. Late afternoon, transfer to airport for your flight to Mumbai. Arrive Mumbai and catch your international flight for onward destination. Your India wine tour comes to an end.
